Valley Hoe was established in 1984 by Mr. Ray Madole.

Ray started his business as a small excavation and grading company in Washoe Valley, Nevada.  The opportunities in  Northern Nevada appeared to be good.

As the company began to grow Ray found valuable resources within his own circle of family and friends.  He recruited those whose work ethic and knowledge he valued.  The choices he made were wise as some of the same faces are still with Valley Hoe today.

Valley Hoe has grown to over 40 employees, the company that was built on integrity and customer service still stands.  Our production equipment has increased to include most of the the equipment we use regularly, backhoes, loaders, excavators, rollers, dump trucks and water trucks.

Our employees are skilled professionals and we dispatch our crews with confidence.  We know that each client will work with gentlemen when they work with Valley Hoe.   Our team continues to expand its knowledge base with training and certification. The crew is always willing to take on new challenges.

For the last 10 years Ray has pioneered the utilization of Helical Piers in the Tahoe Basin and Northern Nevada.   Valley Hoe has been able to save historical brick homes, large apartment complexes and commercial structures by underpinning foundations that had failed and might have otherwise been demolished.

Ray has built his company with care and continues to oversee each aspect of the business including: estimating, project management, marketing and field supervision.  Of course he could not do it alone, let us introduce you to some of our key staff.
